Hi All, Just thought I'd share a couple pics of my Ping. gracilis. I've looked on the internet and pinguicula.org's website, and it seems that I've got something of an anomally. All of the photo's I've seen show P. gracilis with a proportionately normal size peduncle, or flowering stalk. For some reason my plant is blooming on an incredibly reduced peduncle, so that it looks like the flower is coming right out of the axil of leaf/stem, much like how Drosera meristocaulis flowers. There's just not much of a flower stalk at all. I imagine this is not a stable trait, but has anyone else had their Ping.s do this for them? Here's a right-on picture of the cutie Here's the shot showing the weirdness Hope to hear other's experiences, see ya, Nick 'bluesboy'
