Hi Everyone,
I'm currently living in a desert area in wich in summer we have 45-50 degree and during the winter i think the lower is around 10-15 Celsisus degree.
I'd like to grow here some sarracenias, droseras, and dioneas but I do not know how to manage the dormancy period.
- It is a good idea to put the plant in the fridge for a couple of month to simulate the cold for the dormancy?
- If so how the plants can manage the complete lack of light during dormancy?
- When I remove and put the plants in the fridge there will be a significant jump in the temperature from like 25 to 7 degree and viceversa, this will damage the plants?
Tks in advance for the answers and info, I'm open to any suggestion on the matter.
By the way I'm already growing a couple of Nepentes and they are doing great so far
