Hey all, it's coming into autumn here and I've had a few Neos, including ventricosa hybrids put out significantly smaller pitchers which look underdeveloped, small peristomes.. Any ideas? Thought it may be the cooler weather ? They have opened but look very stunted lol never had this happen so I have no idea what's going on ..

What sort of lighting are these plants getting? Morning natural sun and good light levels all day and have always been fine , have always had normal pitchers - just recently have gone weird. Nothing has changed except change of season and it's been very humid.

Depending on your conditions many Nepenthes tend to cut off pitcher production in winter as light levels decrease, but they will also do so if nutrient levels in the soil build up too high.
