As well as ordering Nepenthes Attenboroughii seeds(see Nepenthes section of forum-please answer that question, too), I have also ordered Utricularia Multifida(Polypompholyx-Pink Petticoat plant)seeds from www.Czplants.comDoes anybody have any germination and growing tips for me? I haven't recieved the seeds yet. I would just like to know in advance.

I live in Ireland, so I am growing the Utricularia Multifida(Polypompholyx)seeds under completely artificial conditions, indoors. Does anyone know the humidity preferences for this plant?

Barry Rice has a section about Utricularia multifida in his faq: link. It might be difficult growing it since it's an annual, but good luck!

Great link, but it doesn't exactly explain the humidity part. Does anybody know the the humidity needed for this plant? I think it would be low, because its native habitat is Western Australia.

It grows wet, sometimes even in water

Since it is an annual and likes it wet, could I add it to my carnivorous plant bog garden in Spring and Summer? I know that it also likes it hot(and Ireland is pretty cold), but it only lives a short time, anyway.

The growing season would be to short. It needs a higher temperature to germinate and a longer time at better temperatures to get good seed. Its also difficult to grow in Europe despite being a weed in the wild

So, will I grow it indoors?

Maybe, as I said it is difficult to get it to grow and produce good seeds for next season.
