Hello everyone
A several people from Japan Carnivorous Plant Society are planning to visit Panhandle, Fl this year btw (~Aug 24-30, 2013) and are looking for a person who can guide them local bogs. I am a member of New England Carnivorous Plant Society and am going to be their interpreter. Please let me know if you are interested!

Try to contact the local NP's / state parks and ask them for a particular CP guided tour. Rent a car somewhere (airport or so ) to move where you want and like I told arrange guides in the different NP's. That's what I would do at least Check: www.floridastateparks.org/findapark/district-northwest.cfmSucces!!

Thanks, Teinkes for the info. I'm still hopeful to find some local CP hotspots where Only CP maniacs would know. But if all fails, we will use your NP guide tips. Good to know we are supported! Thanks!

I would love to help, and i'd consider it if i can get away. But since i cannot commit at this time, i would suggest that you arrange a brief appointment with the botanist for Apalachicola NF. The main office is on Rt 20 in Blountstown. They were very generous and helpful years ago. Especially with figuring out the parcels that were burned the previous season.
