The plants are all grown in pure sphagnum moss, under identical conditions. From the right (ruler is 18"): B. aff. filifolia ""flowers purple on both sides of petals", B. sp. Pilbara, B. guehoi, B. filifolia

1. B. guehoi 2. B. filifolia 3. B. aff. filifolia 4. B. sp. Pilbara 5. B. aquatica Petal colour and size of the different Byblis species.   As above, except that number 5 is B. rorida.

Hi Brian,
Given the number of plants he has in his greenhouses, no way Isao-san could have taught me to pick up fallen half-shriveled petals for a study on the stamens. Notice how he always has flowers cut and placed nicely for photos? LOL
Honestly, it just happened that I have all the species flowering at the moment except B. liniflora. The photos are insignificant to experts who already know the stuff but serves to remind myself of the differences between the species...which I find very interesting. ;D
