Thanks for posting. Why no open flowers?
[Edit: That is to say, is there a known reason why open flowers would be so difficult to find?]

Hi, most of the Drosera open their flowers just at the middle of the day and some hours around this time. Also, only if the sun is shinning and the temperatures are high enough. That's not true for some of the tuberous, but i think you can take it as a basic rule. We had some bad luck here, as we found those plants only on either shaddy days or too early in the morning or too late in the afternoon. So, this might be the reason why we could not find any open flowers. We've been there just at the wrong times Christian

Ah, I see. Well nonetheless, its great seeing picuture of them in their natural habitats. As much fun as it is to grow some of these plants (and it is definitely fun), it will never rival seeing them in their home worlds. Hopefully I will have the opportunity pretty soon here to see some in their natural habitats.
