This season our Utricularia alpina x humboldtii (cultivar Utricularia 'Nuedlinger Flair') developed 14 flowers. The hybrid was produced at Thomas Carow's "CP-kitchen" in Germany some years ago. I think the flowers are so beautiful that it's worth it to post a photo. Two years ago the plant produced one flower, last year appeared 3, and this year Irmgard and I are simply amazed about it. The hybrid grows under tropical conditions in pure living Sphagnum without using any fertilizer.

The flower stalks are up to 40 cm long, the single flowers are between 4.5 to 5 cm large.

Those are certainly worth posting pictures of! I don't grow Utricularia but you are making me want to.
