What is the correct ppm of GA3, 20% to use for Byblis Guehoi? I am reading of 2 very different instructions: 100-250 ppm and 1000 ppm.

Hey Jim,
10% has always worked fine for me.

The confusion is that Jimscott has a 20% GA3 powder vs the more common 90% GA3 powder. Parts Per Million of GA3 (think active ingredient) in water is the same you just have to use more of the 20% powder.
A 10% GA3 solution is the same as 100,000ppm GA3 solution.

What?! That's a 100X the highest advice I've received thus far! This is what I did at work: In light of the fact that the guidance I have been receiving has varied from as little as 10 ppm concentration of GA3 to 1000 ppm, I decided to go with what will be ~500 ppm. I weighed out ~0.125 grams of GA3 and mixed it with purified water. I sonicated it get it into solution. Of course there's no guarantee that the GA3 that I have is still potent...

Hi Jim,
no it's not that much stronger. The important thing to know is how much of the powder you have is actual GA3 and how much is "filler" that is only used to make the GA3 more manageable and store able.
If you have theoretical put GA3 than 1 mg per liter is 1 ppm as 1 liter water is 1,000,000 mg, 10 mg is than 10 ppm and so on. However if you don't have pure GA3 but a powder of which say 10% is GA3 and the rest is filler than you need 10 mg of the powder in 1 liter to get 1mg of pure GA3 and 1 ppm.
So you need to know what % GA3 there is in your powder. You seem to have a 20% powder, so 5 mg/liter is 1 ppm. I think about 100 - 200 ppm should do the trick so that's 500- 1000 mg/liter
