I am guessing that it was not California Carnivores that you did business with, Brotherlymonkey. Is this right?

Yeah, ebay vendors.....
I will only buy from a very small handful. You got to be careful of them. What a lot of ebay vendors do is list items that they have found for super cheap elsewhere. When you place your order, they then order the item from their source and then ship it to you after they receive it- often keeping a portion for themselves in the case of seeds or bunching plants. Basically you are buying plants for them, and giving them free money.
If they take super long to ship to you- that is likely what is going on.

In fact, the service was always quite fast, and plants in great condition But yeah, I figured he was probably using my funds to order from somewhere else, and things got seriously fubared on his end Meh, live and learn

Any pics to be had, Coldcoffee? What do you think of the service you got from CC? By the way, thanks for your entries of late. This forum needs some stirring up, IMO. - Mark

Jamban from CC, I did order a bunch of Droseras from them a while ago and was very very pleased with the quality. They are usually my first stop when I am looking for something but admittedly because of their $5.00 packaging fee I am really hesitant to order from them unless it is something very special or a larger order (I'm kind of cheap that way). IE I would not likely order something like a D. Capensis from them unless it was taked onto another order. I still wholeheartedly recommend based on quality alone them but I really wish they would rethink that packaging fee. I have had to direct my business to other vendors a few times because of it.

Alright! Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I promised photos! The long wait is finally over. Not only has the N. jamban kicked out pitchers but I finally have something better than the camera in my cell phone. I posted a photo of the N. jamban pitchers (as well as a couple of other plants) in the Photos section (Thread named "plant photos"). Let me know what you think. More pictures coming, I have taken a couple hundred now and still at it
