Hello All, I finally got a copy of Barry Rice's book (Which IMO is fantastic, very well done. I think the pictures alone are worth the price of the book- although I wish he had room to add in a few more.) My girlfriend was flipping through it last night and saw a picture of an Aldrovanda and said she would not mind me growing it. I am aware of Aldrovanda's reputation for being a bit of a pain (most aquatic plants are to some degree in my experience), but I would like to give it a shot nonetheless. I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable US supplier or source. I have never seen Aldrovanda on the websites of the companies that I frequent (IE CaliCarns, petflytrap, flytrapstore, etc...)
I do know of some European suppliers, and although I have absolutely nothing against buying overseas (I do so often), given the nature of this plant I would prefer to avoid an overseas shipment.
Thanks!

I have 4-5 small buckets of water they're just floating in.A few right under some lights indoors, and the rest outside in partial sun(thats all ive got).i live just north of SF,CA.so far so good! they are even cooler looking in person, get some! -Matt
