Hi Folks: On Friday we had an exceptional burn on almost the entire 100 acres of the Joseph Pines Preserve. Bogs were burned to the ground! We're very pleased with the result and look forward to the advance of the sundews and other associates onto new ground this year. You can see some pictures of the burn on our banner at www.pitcherplant.org or our Facebook page. Sincerely, Phil Sheridan, Ph.D. Director Meadowview Biological Research Station

Great news , Phil. I'm glad it all went well for you. I can imagine the growth burst this year will be amazing as a result. Please keep us posted on your progress... Splinter Hill Preserve and the Roberta Case Preserve have reported successful burns this year as well. Looks like a good year for all on the horizon, especially the CP! Happy Growing, Brian Barnes, ICPS Director of Conservation
