This is a Photosynth of the flytrap collection at California Carnivores. This synth is more complex than the others that I have posted before and contains about 150 images. Here's a quick user's guide on navigating the synth... The synth will take a few seconds to load because it is made up of so many photos. After the synth has loaded, hit the 'F' key on your keyboard to maximize the image in your internet browser. After the image has been maximized, a column of images will appear on the right hand side of your screen. These images are highlights taken directly from the synth. You can click on these to jump to those spots in the synth. The highlights may take a few seconds before they come to their full resolution. You can zoom in on the synth by using the scroll wheel on your mouse and then click and hold the image to move it around. Because the synth is so large, it does not work very well on older computers or dial-up connections. photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=08c47995-33c6-4470-b745-ece68e4b4cc8

Very cool. The one thing missing (or at least I did not find it) was an annotation of the name of the cultivar(s) in the image.

I should be stopping by the greenhouse soon. I will try to do something about posting the names when I get there.
