Very unusual and not unattractive, but not really useful for the plant, I would think.
I personally don't care for the Wacky Traps cultivar, because the deformed leaves are unable to perform as traps. Growing something like this is kind of like the inbreeding of dogs to bring out certain "desirable" traits.

I view it a bit differently. I find some of these strange mutations fascinating. Perhaps they shine a small light on some of the genetic background that led to modern-day VFTs. Then again, perhaps not.
Concerning 'Wacky Traps' inability to perform as traps. Yesterday one of our less-friendly cats attacked me and bit a vein which produced a considerable amount of blood. Not to waste a good thing, I dripped on my 'Wacky Traps' (and a few other VFTs and Drosera). Today, the 'Wacky Traps' traps were tightly closed and the plant was smiling. A poor substitute for an active trap, but a response at least.

Hmmm, wasn't that how Seymour's downfall with Audrey Jr. got started in "The Little Shop of Horrors" (1960)? "Feed me!"....

Perhaps they shine a small light on some of the genetic background that led to modern-day VFTs. Those "poofs" in the leaves which give it the pom-pom name resemble, to me, the "tentacles" (or working in a little plant anatomy- specialized trichomes? Maybe?) on a sundew. It brings up visions of D. falconeri. Which would make sense, since isnt the prevailing theory that VFT evolved from sundew-like plants?
