The plant would probably prefer the adult form. It's not necessary to feed these plants either.
It does appear that everyone wants to cram prey and fertiliser into their plants these days. If you want to feed a pet get a dog. ;D

They should be OK, as long as they are the correct size. these worms are high in Chitin though, which could be difficult to break down, but i have fed wax worms to Dionaea without problems.

I have fed my VFTs beetle larvae in the past, and I do not intend to do so again... With their soft bodies, the larvae, though large, managed to squeeze their way out of the closed traps.
I don't feed my VFTs a lot - they can generally catch food on their own - but if I find a a fat earwig, I sometimes feed it to my VFTs. I don't ever feed my CPs hornets, as their powerful mandibles can damage the traps. What insects are okay, though? I know flies are perfect. I avoid beetles because they have a lot of chitine. What about grasshoppers? Are they likely to damage the plants?

An earwig is not a good choice. They can eat their way out. Grasshoppers too.

How could you Bob! Now I expect a sudden decline in the USA's spider population.
