You can use this for nepenthese, but cannot use it for other CPs. For other CPs, only distilled water, rain water, or RO. water is OK.

The question should be "does your water need to be purified?" In many areas, the water delivered by the municipal water district is fine for all CPs. Call your local water company and ask for their water quality report -- many post the report on their web site.
When water from PUR faucet mount filters and refrigerator filters is tested, there is generally a 0-50ppm reduction in tds. So, depending on your incoming water source, the faucet mounted filter may or may not have a significant effect on reducing tds.
