Thx Prmills, Taylor, yes...of course they are unhappy initially, but growth resumed in less then two weeks. Dessication is a main concern of course. However, in the controlled enviroment of my plant rack it is concern easily addressed. Av

I can't remeber seeing such good photos of the Cephalotus root system-thanks for those. I use Trichoderma also, but as a soil drench for the plants.

Thanks Mab, Pete,
I do a monthly drench as well, plus a granular for transplanting and problem areas.
During transplanting I also do a good soak, which has other inherent benefits as well.
Which strain of trich do you use?... After lots of trial and error, I personally prefer Ampac Biotech's T. atroviride for Cp use.
I started with rootsheild's H22 but the shelf life and spore count is terrible... and it just didnt seem to work as well as T. atroviride in our application

I use the Trichoderma powder by Canna, I don't know if there are any other forms available in this country. Canna also do a good substrate component "Canna Coco Professional" this is ground and washed coconut husk and then they impregnate it with Trichoderma apparantly. I use this as part of my Ceph mix.
