All "species Botswana" means is this Drosera plant was found in Botswana. There was a collection made by someone who could not ID the plant; who passed the material on to Sean Samia, who in turn made the plant available and it has now been spread all around the world. Sean couldn't ID the plant either so he just tagged it with the location data: Okavango Delta, Botswana. Is this your plant? www.rci.rutgers.edu/~dpevans/Drosera/D_madagascariensis.htm

Your plant looks more like a plant I received as "Drosera from Chimanimani Mountains, Zimbabwe." It is not D. madagascariensis.
But I cannot give you a 100% ID, some photos of the flowers, the flower stalks and even the seeds will be needed to make a certain ID. There are *a lot* sundew species.

Very well-grown. That sundew looks incredible damianus.
It does look like D. natalensis ssp. Chimanimane Mts, but its stems are more elongated than mine...Perhaps could this be a cross of D. nidiformis and D. natalensis ssp Chimanimane???
It almost looks like a south african version of D. villosa??? Very neat plant regardless.

szamanka- if damanius's plants aren't catching as many insects as yours, this will slow leaf production and produce the beautiful red coloration his plants have. With the amount of light you have, the only way they could even have a hint of red would be if they didn't catch any more insects. However, if you wanted the red coloration, you can always supplement light with a fluorescent fixture as well as having the plant on a south-facing window.
