These just came in the mail today. Planted them outside in peat/sand/perlite/sphagnum mix and gave them a good watering. (With distilled water, of course!) I live in western Oregon, I'm only a bit more than an hour's drive from the Darlingtonia Wayside even, so I have high hopes for these guys thriving. They're in partial shade, in a nice big pot. A nice start. I think you did all the right things to prevent shock / hydrating them.
