Greetings!
My name is Ken and I live in Massachusetts, USA (Zone 5b).
I've been growing carnivorous plants for approximately 10 years.
For most of these years, I have cultivated Nepenthes but over the past 4 years I've expanded my collection to include Sarracenia, Heliamphora, VFTs, Pinguicula, Utricularia, Roridula, Catopsis, Brocchinia, Aldrovanda, Drosophyllum, Cephalotus, Byblis, and Drosera (tropical, temperate, petiolaris-complex, tuberous, pygmy).
I now have ~400 distinct species/subspecies, hybrids, cultivars, and forms of various CPs.
Most of my CPs are grown indoors under artificial (fluorescent) lights though recently I've started growing some of the temperate species in small outdoor container bogs.
I've been the Secretary of the New England Carnivorous Plant Society (NECPs) for two years and a member for three. I'm also a member of the ICPS.
I'm glad to have found this forum and I'm looking forward to learning more about these plants and helping others with their questions!
Ken
