I'm putting together a terrarium, mostly for Drosera, Pings and Sarracenia. Browsing through the posts I notice that some of you use humidifiers or nebulisers, some of them ultrasonic. Any reccomendations on the type you think works well would be appreciated.

Hi timpa,
I wouldn't recommend a humidifier for drosera and pings, and sarras will quickly out-grow a terrarium.
Drosera don't really appreciate being constantly saturated as it dilutes the dew and prevents them traping and digesting their prey.
Pings can become prone to leaf rot if constantly wet also.
I find my terrarium has sufficient humidity from the heating effect of the lights and when there are plenty of plants. The plants create their own humidity by transpiration from the leaves.
Dave.

Thanx for the advice.
I'll mostly be growing S. purpurea purpurea and they don't get very big.
