I live in Scotland and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy CP friendly pesticides and fungicides? I would be willing to order them up from England or over the internet.

Provado (Imidacloprid) is my insecticide of choice.
Fungicides tend to be fairly specific as to infection, so it rather depends upon your requirements.

I use Captan as as fungicide. It takes care of Botrytis and other damping-off fungi. However, I'm not sure of its availability on Europe.

Captan just made the list of products not longer allowed for private use in The Netherlands. Environmental reasons.

So is there any place that you would know to sell Provado (Imidacloprid) or Captan in the UK (preferabley Scotland)?

Any garden centre will supply Provado plus a variety of fungicides. I'm certain Captan is not available. What Marcel mentions will be an EU-wide ban. There are no fungicides available that will cure a Botrytis infection.

Bio Systhane Fungus Fighter should deal with rust and is again available from garden-centres
You will be doing well if you manage to kill N. x ventrata. It's a tough hybrid and will survive most things. Mine has withstood about 25 years of neglect.

With the Bio Systhane Fungus Killer do you spray it or apply it to the soil. Does this particular fungicide work on most funghi and can it be used on most CP's?

Spray and no as I've said, most fungicides are somewhat specific.
I have used it on Sarracenia, Nepenthes, Dionaea and Cephalotus.

Is the Safer products that are like 3 in 1 fungicide, insecticide, etc.. all natural ok to use on flytraps and other CP's?? I think it is called Safer or something else, the one you can buy at Home Depot. I want to use it on my flytraps for aphids and also for fungus. Thanks, Ricky

Yes it is generally safe to use (as directed) on most CPs. I wouldn't use it on Drosera though. It works by clogging the pores on the insects/mites so they can't breathe, gumming up the chewing parts or ovipositors so the pests can't eat or reproduce. It also disrupts the reproductive cycles in some fungi. Clint and myself use this product. Be careful not to inhale the spray/fumes when applying it. -Warren

I've never had a problem with it, except on D. adelae. Don't be afraid to use it liberally with most genera. Use discretion when applying anything with Drosera. It definitely has a unique odor I sort of like it. I guess it's an acquired appreciation.

I've had wonderful results with Serenade Garden bio-fungicide, that contains Bacillus subtilis. It's available at many hydroponics stores. As far as pesticides, I've used Garden Safe on every type of CP except Heliamphora and Pings... I've had no trouble with applying it to Drosera. The key, in my opinion, is to keep them out of direct sun or in my case, direct blasting light in my grow chamber, for a few days after application. The leaves take a few days to recover and begin producing mucilage again though... I've experienced the same phenomena with the pesticidal oils, as they cause problems if used in direct or strong sun/light. Bri.
