Hi all,
Very interesting discovery. The first I have even heard of this one, but I'll take a stab at the general location: Palawan Island? I suppose we will not know for a couple of years...
Anyway, the Philipines are so under collected, there are probably a lot of Nepenthes species waiting to be found, maybe even new lowlanders as well.

there used to be a show on discovery channel a long time ago similiar to going tribal or maybe it was animal planet but they went to the philipines and showed the viewers for just a split second a very large pitcher plant similiar to those pictures however i dont think the one that i saw on the tv was abe to hold 1.5 liters like the one Alastair Robinson, Volker Heinrich and Stewart McPherson found
