I have just finished reading Peter D'Amato's book "The Savage Garden" and I found it one of the best CP books out there. Now I am looking for a new book to read. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The book I recently bought and like the best for getting a better understanding of where the plants live, more then how to grow them is Stewart McPherson - Pitcher Plants of the Americas. He has other books that will be coming out. The following 2 are ones I'm eagerly waiting for Glistening Carnivores, and Pitcher Plants Of The Old World. I may end up with all the books he is coming out with.

You will have to wait a little then. We're still in anticipation of Lost Worlds. It will be worth waiting for of course

Charles Clarke's books are really exemplary, of course.

Donald Schnell's book titled 'Carnivorous Plants of the United States and Canada' is a great book, you can find it on the secondary market for a very reasonable price, or contact Timber Press regards ed

Is "Insect Eaters: How to Grow and Feed Extraordinary Plants" by Adrian Slack worth buying if i already have "Savage Garden" and Barry Rice's book which are excellent reads in themselves?

Pretty much all titles published are worth having for one reason or another.
In this specific case, yes the reprint is inexpensive and contains a wealth of information concerning the cultivation of plants. Much of it relevant to you as Adrian Slack was working in the UK.

I'm a huge fan of CP books, as I think that just about everyone has something interesting to say. As for Slack's books, YES I love those books as they are personable, filled with interesting material, and have an excellent perspective.
As rappers would say, Slack is an OG, and you gotta respect that, knawmean?
