I live in pittsburgh, PA and i am going to take my highland nepenthes to school. I was wondering of safe ways to get it there, though. I will Probably be below 30 degrees, but i have a few ideas. please tell me the safes one or if you have your own post it. Here is my idea: Use an air activated heat pack and wrap a dome and pot in hot towels.

I've used old dry cleaning plastic bags, and sprayed them down before the move to keep the humidity, but moist paper towels should also work.

your method should work. If your taking plants to school get ready to hear "Is that a venus flytrap?" and "Will it eat me?" and "what do you feed it?" ANNOYING QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice! Way to share these wonderful plants, and create a few addicts in the process .
