I got three Nepenthes from there which are all highlanders. I got a rajah, a sibuyanensis, and an sp. This URL photo is supposetly looks like www.borneoexotics.com/Species%20Data/nsp1.htm . Can anyone tell me any else about this sp? Also, can anyone tell me if it is possible to windowsill grow these plants?

N. sp1 is an unidentified species... once it flowers it will be able to be described as a species.
as far as windows go. rajah and sibuyanensis like the higher humidity and probably wont do to well on a window. other than it is is an unknown species, i know nothing about sp1 Alex

rajah: high humidity, cool nights, and good air circulation! sibuyanensis: high humidity! Is it possible to windowsill grow them? Certainly it's been done, but only by people with "magic windows" like elgecko. In general they are not good windowsill plants because of their taste for high humidity. If you tried it there's quite a good chance rajah would die, and sibuyanensis probably wouldn't do well. It would take about a year for either species to adapt, if they managed at all. It's a sink-or-swim situation. Good luck. If you have a terrarium or something that would help, but remember the cool nights and good air circulation thing. Sorry, but you've kinda picked out two of the real buggers to grow. DISCLAIMER: I don't have any experience with sibuyanensis, but everyone says it's a humidity addict and slow to adapt. I've struggled with rajah though...

Sibuyanensis seems to need high humidity to pitcher. This can be solved by grossly overpotting and using a generous topdressing of sphagnum. Though some report the plant a tricky one to grow, I never had problems with it.

Your link wasn't working because you put a period after htm. I went ahead and fixed it for you.

SP1 from BE easily transplants, and will likely not go into transplant shock or drop its pitchers. The lower pitchers can be large as compared to the plant, with a nearly 1:1 pitcher length to leaf length ratio.
The back of the lower pitchers domes over the pitcher opening slightly, something that isnt easily seen in the photos on the BE website. This doming effect, coupled with the really nice coloration on the large pitchers, makes this a really nice plant.
For a highlander (1800m), it grows at a very decent pace, with a new leaf growing out about every 2.5 weeks. It pitchers readily.

Yeah, actually I just bought a 18 x 18 x 18 exo terra glass terrarium (with those monitors) and a fogger (for cooling the terrarium at night and also makes it look awesome)! Sweet, now I can keep my plants from getting too big quickly and I have fulfiiled all the descriptions you guys described. Thnx for the info on my sp and my other plants! And also thanks for catching the URL mistake.

Oh yeaH, AND I also use a 100 watt light to supplement sunlight. Plus, Nepenthes tend to tolerate lower light conditions a little more than other CPs.

wow! a 100 watt light would definately mean you are no where near the LOW light conditions. with like 50 watts or so....I am dwindling dangerously close to the lowlight / no pitchering region. I got my rajah its own CFL 27 watt that my bical liked. I hope it responds. I am waiting to see if I have redness when the next leaf opens.

I am using a 100 watt florescent light. But for now I am only using sunlight and my rajah doesn't seem to mind. Today it was extremely cloudy, but my rajah didn't seem to mind.

Is that a real 100 watt PC light, or an 100 watt equivalent CF light that's only like.. 20 watts or so? Big difference.
