Today I just got a N. Savanna Rose (for 15 Dollars) and I'm wondering if anyone knows the parentage of the plant?
Also I noticed it was growing out of a woody/dead growing vine, if I replant it, is it ok to leave that under the soil?

Not really a good idea, about burying the lower section of the stem. You will probably stunt the plant by doing this, because Nepenthes branch from ground level. Putting the plants lower in the pot can position it so the roots are wetter than they should be. Any new branches will have to dig their way to the surface and their development will probably be slower.

So its not ok to bury the brown old-cutting vine or the green part? Thanks Bob for the info.
