This summer was obviously too hot for our magnificent D. x capriciae and it did not only become sickish white like every year; eventually, it died back totally aboveground. However, I remained optimistically because since the mid 1980s, the plant survived all adversities at our greenhouse. Now the temps are dropping and abruptly it sprouts again. Until December, it should look totally healthy again.
