Old leaves naturally die off (they do not last forever), but this looks like some sort of burn or frost damage, maybe even chemical. To give a decent answer we need a lot more info: temperatures, water, etc. However, if the rest of the plant looks fine, I doubt it's to be concerned.

I got it from Lowes. It has never been put outside in the week Iv had it.I use distilled water or rain in my plants. The temp in my house is 55-60F at night and 70ish during the day. It gets all the light it can from the western widow (its been vary cloudy and wet the last few days) and the 23w cfl for about 14 hrs.

Temps might be a bit on the low side for it, but ventrata is a hardy plant; I would guess just a form of natural leaf senescence, or old leaves that were used to high humidity wilting away.
