Does someone know what is the procedure to realize a Nepenthes sample herbarium?

What kind of authorizations do you need to get to collect a type plant?
How many specimens do you observe in the wild before choosing the right "type specimen"?
How do you put the collected plant on the sheet?
How do you make it dry?
How do you register your dried specimens in the herbarium institute?
Do you need to publish a paper?
...

So many questions. I would be happy to get even a few answers.
