Hello, I am quite new to this *coughobsessioncough* hobby I live in northern Italy, where summer temperatures can rarely reach 40°C and winter -20°C. My carnivorous adventure started last year, when I killed a VFT due to not doing my research properly :/ I also nearly killed a capensis by leaving it unattended for weeks in my college dorm, but I had already leaf-propagated it and most of the plant came back from the roots (those little things are unkillable!). I now keep my zombie D. capensis, P. x "Tina", C. follicularis (and another ping which isn't going to live much longer I'm afraid) in a south facing porch enclosed by windows, and Sarracenias x "Velvet" and "Wrigleyana" and D. muscipula outside on the same south facing side of the house. I don't know if it's the same everywhere but where I live it's really hard to find plants in good conditions and with a clear genealogy - for instance my x "Wrigleyana" was labeled as a S. minor! Carnivorous-friendly gardening material il scarce too, everything has that evil fertilizer stuff in it. Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from this site! Thank you for having me, Valentina
