Hi, I was wondering if anyone on this forum has ordered from wistuba nursery in germany. I am looking into doing an order and i am interested in how your plants were when you recieved them, and how dealing with applying for permits went. thanks
;D

If you are in the US you should not need to apply for a permit as his distributor will be recieveing all the plants and then sending them out from there.

Ah, was not aware you were in Canada. I would start off by contacting your equivalent of the Department of Agriculture. If they are not the correct authority they should at least put you in the right direction

Hi I'm from Canada and have been part of group order from Wistuba twice. I didn't did the part of paperwork, so i couldn't give much uch information toward it, but if you google 'importing orchids canada' you'll end on an article from the Canadian Orchids Congress on the procedure of importing orchids in Canada, which is pretty much the same for CP.
As for Wistuba, great plants, I was pretty satisfied, but the Canadian customs have a bad reputation toward the time took to inspect plants, and I think Wistuba don't insure live delivery in Canada... but you'll ask to ask Andreas, i don't want to put you in error. But anyway, I was pretty happy with my order, twice!
