I bought a D binata 1 month ago at first the new leaves are dying before uncurling and now all of the leaves are dead what seems to be the problem? I use 1:1 peat sand rinsed before use I use tray method with distilled water the temperature here is 90°F. I put it in a bright morning sunlight and an indirect afternoon sunlight

euh..that is something like 32 C to the rest of the world right? Shouldn't be the problem. I do use more peat 2;1 instead of 1:1. Also: is the mixture wet enough to start with? many sand/grt/perlite heavy mixtures are slow to suck up initial moisture into the mix so freshly potted up plants might dry out before settling in.

I saturated the media with distilled water before I planted my D binata
Is there a chance that it will revive? I heard that they revive after dying back to its root or is it just for cold season?

di you put it straight into direct sunlight? when the leaves died did they look burned or did they turn black? They do revive very well so leave it for the moment.

Yeah i put it streight in a direct morning sunlight I did the same thing in my D. Spatulata and its seems fine
only one leaf have signs of getting burn before it turned into black now all the leaves are black the leaves died before they even uncurl
by the way my D. Binata var is multifida.

Most plants are going to need acclimation to new conditions. Chances are this plant was not in direct sun at its previous location, so any new leaves it produces are going to burn until it gets used to the conditions.
