This is my nepe it is Nepenthes rafflesiana x ampullaria this means its a hookeriana or am i mistaken anyway. I have grown this in a fish tank for a long time now and its getting a bit too big so im just going to have to make the fish tank bigger put another one on top or something. I grow this on a windowsill that gets about 4 hours of direct sun in the morning and so far so good should i cut off the old dead and dying pitchers.

If the tank is covered, yes you should remove the dead leaves. The lack of air movement and extra high humidity will cause them to rot. Sometimes the rot can then move into the living part of the plant. If it the tank is open, there should be enough air flow and you could leave the dried leaves like they are.
I like to see the old, dried leaves as the dried foliage can be quite attractive, depending on the particular plant. I'll often keep the old leaves on a plant until basal rosettes form and, of course, the new growth needs light to grow well and color up nicely.

rafflesiana x ampullaria = hookeriana, yes.
As to cutting off the pitchers: cut off the ones that are entirely brown, but leave those that still have intact glands, as these can still help provide nutrition for the plant.
