I have actually bought a VERY nice sized N. ventricosa 'red' from Home Depot one time. It had 5-6 inch leaves and no pitchers. It's pretty big now, it snuck in a basal shoot that has completely taken over the pot. I don't think I'll ever find such a treasure at Home Depot again.
Lowes seems to always have CPs when I go... as long as it's in season, like around this time now. In the winter they don't have any.

Nah, I'm about 4 1/2 hours east of Pittsburgh.
I've noticed that some have them and some just... don't. I don't know why.

Lowes will order CP's if you talk to the plant 'manager'; they have ordered some Darlingtonia for me, you do have to guide them a bit, they don't know alot about CP's(at least at the Lowes by my office) regards ed
