I would like to know if this has been made before as I believe I have done it, the plants are in flower and have flowers Identical to Aurea but small floats (anywhere from 1-4), a few flowers are slightly more stellaris shaped, but all have the reddish colouration at the top of the lower lip, unlike my stellaris which are pure yellow.
I have had the two species growing together for a few years now, but in late 2011 I hand pollinated a few to see what would happen, as none flowered until now I figured they ahd failed, but on closer inspection to a few "Aurea" in flower I noticed these small floats.
I will post pics tomorrow for confirmation through here. Any help would be appreciated before I declare them.

This is what I call Stellaris, 4-5floats, all at the same point on the infloresence and an proportioned upper to lower lip, no red colouration at the top of the lower lip.

The two tractor tyre ponds are U.stellaris and U.aurea growing together, the metal trough is stellaris/uliginosa on the left and aurea/gibba on the right. I also have another pond they share that is similiar to the tyre ponds (but a slightly smaller tyre), both species are native to this area, so natural pollination is quite beleivable, as I said I did try to cross them but thought I had failed, until now. So unless Aurea has cases of forming small floats I am sure it is indeed a hybrid. Also if this is a first for this hybrid how do I go with giving it a cultivar name?, what are the steps involved.
