Hi,
I am new here to the forums and the community here sounds awesome. I have had pretty prompt answers so far which is greatly appreciated. I am 26 years old and live in British Columbia Canada near Vancouver and have been here for about 2 1/2 years now and I love it. The weather out east of where I lived in Canada is so much better here. The snow out east is unbelievable and I don't miss it one bit. I have had an interest in CP's for as long as I can remember, I have made a few mistakes along the way but I learned from them. I hope to someday to expand my CP collection, as of right now I have 1 Typical VFT which I am keeping and hope to get more. 1 Giant Red & 1 Big Jaws. but I am looking to give my Giant Red & Big Jaws away due to the fact that they aren't naturally occurring in the wild (Yes I am a stickler for naturals only). I guess your probably wondering why I want to give them away and why I got them in the first place. Well to answer that question is I got the Giant Red from The Urban Bog here in Canada here as a free gift for ordering at least 25$ worth of soil and plants as a bonus. I got the Big Jaws also for free at a place they were selling VFT's and things. When they offered it to me I didn't want to be rude and say no so I gladly took it.
Well that is pretty much sums it up about me.
Cheers, Jonathan

Hello Jonathan and welcome! When you say you want plants that are naturally occurring in the wild, does that mean you prefer species over hybrids? Because if that is the case then I agree with you.

Tanukimo, mind if I add you as a friend? It's actually quite refreshing for someone to have the same views as I do in regards to my feelings on hybrid CP's.

Sure! Yeah, I agree, hybrids to me just seem unnatural.

There are hybrids which occur in nature though. Sarracenia and nepenthes can be quite prone to it.

Yup, I like naturally occurring hybrids in the wild but not the ones that humans induce to get a certain characteristic out of a plant

Good thing 'Leah Wilkerson' and 'Adrian Slack' are both naturally-occurring hybrids!
