Hi plant lovers. Past weekend I went out in Belgian limestone area near Couvin to check out local orchids. It was a big succes, a lot where blooming. Also I looked for peat swamps in the area. There was Drosera rotundiafolia & D. intermedia mentioned for the 'Tourbière de culs de sarts' here in Belgium but last noted in 1994. I went to check and indeed the swamp was in a bad condition and a lot of Typhia was taking over the area. Luckely I encounter someone who gived me a tip to visit the 'Tourbière du troux blanc', Just over the border in France and it was a succes. A lot of Drosera rotundiafolia was growing and in more exposed area's I saw D. rotundifolia growing together with D. intermedia... So ja enough blabla, pictures can be seen on: www.flickr.com/photos/norway_summer_2009/sets/72157634161500718/Otherwise I will spent quiet a while to opload the pictures and there's a lot of work in the garden nowaday so sorry for this but enjoy the pictures!!... but here is one:
