I¡¯m a PHD student. I want to submit my doctoral dissertation to a publisher related to plant science. Can you guys have some fantastic advice?

Is it CP or CP habitat related and more or less general readable (not only research results but also accessible for more general readers?In that case Redfern (Stew McPherson) has a good rep on publishing nice and affordable books in not to large a numbers.
I think your main problem (unless you got a really hot topic) is going to find a publisher who wants to do what is probably going to be a (commercially speaking) small number of books.
edit: Also, is it enough material for a real book or "just a paper"? That will also make a difference off course.

Knowing the title and abstract of your dissertation would help us to give you suggestions about publishers.
