Wilkerson's Bog is a famous place where numerous outstanding Sarracenia now in cultivation originated (and unfortunately many poached). The Sarracenia in the bog are suffering because it has become increasingly overgrown from lack of burning since Mr. Wilkerson died in 2005. A nice article about the place was written and posted today by Lori Ceier/Walton Outdoors. www.waltonoutdoors.com/north-walton-pitcher-plant-bog-boasts-international-fame/
