'Wacky Traps' is one of the only clones that I have been unable to pollinate and obtain viable seed -- although I am trying again this year. I believe the problem might be that the stigma is deformed in all of the flowers and may not be receptive to pollen (see below). To test the pollen viability, I am pollinating another clone to see if I can get viable seed this year.

The "other clone" that I selected for the pollination experiment was Trichterfalle. I pollinated Wacky x Trichterfalle and got 0 seeds, but for Trichterfalle x Wacky I got 9 wimpy seeds. I planted the 9 seeds in early August and one actually germinated. Perhaps others will germinate eventually.

Hmmm...so that would imply not a deformed stigma, right (or did I read that cross backwards)?-kby

Am I the only one that thinks that 'Wacky traps' is the most insanley cool VFT cultivar out there!? Well that figures for me I guess lol...I've honestly been dying for one of those since I first started growing CP's...if they ever become more available, let me know, because I would love to give a home to an underdog CP lol.
