I think the N. alata is actually the Deroose N. 'Alata' which is actually a N. x ventrata

It's definitely not N. x ventrata. The bottom is very bulbous, there's a keel under the lid, there's no undulation in the thin peristome, and the lower pitchers have alas. however, this is probably not actually N. alata, but a closely related plant. It's not pubescent on the pitchers or petioles, it doesn't retain the alas on the upper pitchers, and the base of the petioles doesn't narrow. It's either a different, undescribed species, or subspecies.

that's the same plant that produced the "Draw me like one of your french girls" pitcher right? Cause that looks identical to what you IDed in my collection as N. x ventrata from Deroose...

Yup, same plant. The DeRoose "alata" in on the bottom shelf. It looks very different when you place them side-by-side.
