Hi im Ricky from Atlanta, GA im new to the board and will be purchasing my membership to the ICPS soon. Im currently growing a Venus Fly Trap (Purchased Kit From Lowe's) and a Sarrancenia (Same Kit). Im very fascinated with Carnivorous Plants and I look forward to learning all I can. Im kinda disappointed with my VFT at the moment though. I think I should have placed in a separate pot instead of the square Terrarium it came in. Oh well im looking forward to talking to all of you and if there are any plant lovers in GA feel free to message me. Attachments:

Welcome to the ICPS Forum Ricky!
Great to hear you are also going to join ICPS too! Hmm...Atlanta...I think the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are doing some good work with CPs.... have you checked them out?

I've made two trips to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens from New England!! Of all the places I've seen CP's in cultivation up and down the East Coast, this one is my favorite. The only other places i've gone is Chapel hill, the D.C. Botanical, and the New England annual plant show in RI. All of the places i mentioned are great stops for CP lovers taking a road trip in May to get out of the snow I enjoyed every visit.
