Hello everyone NASC is in need of volunteers in or near the Houston TX area who can donate some time to working in the greenhouse. This might involve potting up or packing seedlings for shipping or other duties as requested by our Head Grower, Mike Howlett. Mike has his hands full and NASC's conservation efforts need support in form of active volunteers. Please, if you or anyone you know, would be willing to donate some hands-on time, please contact Mike at HoustonHerp@aol.com or me at PlantAKiss@aol.com. Just think...you would be "playing" with Sarracenia in a greenhouse! What could be better than that? Thank you very much for your support! Suzanne

I would love to volunteer if I lived in the Houston area but unfortunately, I live in Michigan. I would however, be willing to get involved in starting seeds of species Sarrs. Just let know.

Thank you Fred. Appreciate your response. We currently have growers. At the moment our more immediate need is finding people willing to devote a little time to some greenhouse work.

Please let me know if there is something I can do then Suzanne. I certainly would like to help in any way I can. I've been growing CPs on and off now for about 28 years - mainly Sarrs. I'm very good at reproducing them from seed under lights during the winter. I live in Michigan so it gives me something to do during the cold months.
