I submitted a positive score to WOT a little while ago, pushing up the warning from red to amber, which results in no pop-up warnings in WOT. Subsequent scores have now sent it to green. So, I now no longer get any warnings when visiting Barry's site.

I have no idea why I was targeted. But it has complicated my life! I've submitted requests for reviews to hphosts and mywot, but neither web site has moved on my site yet. It's a little frustrating that these sites pronounce other sites as reliable or unreliable, but why they apparently do in-depth analyses of other sites, they do not proactively contact the so-called flawed sites with warnings. Scanning the various forums of these sites, I find I am certainly not alone. Lots of harmless websites can lousy reviews because they've been hacked. Leading with a stick, instead of a carrot, is not particularly helpful. B Well, if it's any consolation I always found your page pretty funny and helpful, and it was one of the first resources I found, or had access to. So thanks for the hard work, and willingness to deal with such unneeded complications

The WOT site lists an associated database entry on hpHosts which lists sarracenia.com as engaging in malware distribution. hosts-file.net/?s=sarracenia.comThere's a link on there to request delisting. There's also a notice/comment: If you were referred here by a comment such as the following, on SiteAdvisor, please disregard it;
"According to www.hosts-file.net/ if you access this domain you risk to unwillingly download and install malicious software (virus, trojans, spyware, etc) that may damage your computer."
I'm sick to death of users such as Alexis Kauffman et al, that think it fun to mass-post comments such as the above. These comments are NOT endorsed by me, nor are they in mosts cases, accurate (see the classification assigned to each domain).

I went ahead and followed suit. 5 stars all the way on Web of trust, also left a comment (don't know if that helps or not). I also submitted a request to remove the listing from hosts-file.net. I do not know if it helps since I do not own the www.sarracenia.com domain, but hopefully if enough of us bug them they will at least take a look at it and ignore those robots that keep posting garbage. Lets get Barry the good rating he deserves!
