spraying normal water harmful to cp's?

My seedlings are finally big enough to introduce them from a glass fish tank into the growing case of my orchids as the temp and humidity is more controlled.

The CP's will be in their water trays with rain water but
I have a misting/fine spray on the orchids with normal tap water.

Will this water damage the CP's???

It very much depends upon the hardness of your tap water, but over the long term, probably yes. However, it is largely a myth that carnivorous plants require constant misting. Under most circumstances and for most plants, the wet media they grow in will maintain the required level of humidity.
