i placed an order with bugbitingplants.com monday. but then i heard that they are often garbage quality. But are the nepenthes ok? I ordered a seed-grown random selection lowland 10" leaf span, probably either rafflesenia or bicalcarata judgeing by their stock. and also 3 highlanders, a sanguinea, "judith Finn" and a third random selection. do you think i will get any of the plants alive, or is this seller garbage? I hope that the plants will survive when they get here. please let me know if any of you have experience with this site.

ok, the order came in today: a judith finn, a large kuchingensis X viking, and two small unidentified neps. I ordered a judith finn, sanguinea, large lowlander and an unknown, so there is one mistake. two, i payed for a potted large plant and recieved a bare root plant. so don't order from them unless they can't possibly screw it up, like a VFT or a darlingtonia. so hope this helps people from making the same mistake.

Thanks for the Info. This is usualy a good company to deal with on a retail basis, so I hope this is not a mark of things to come from them.

Rather late but bugbitingplants.com is good site to buy plants from. I ordered from first batch from there and they came in excellent shape and looked pretty healthy. I suppose my only complaint would be that I wish they would have added in the retail information that the plants would come bare-root. At least everything went well in the end anyway.

The times I've bought plants from them, I've had mostly good experiences. I ordered a Nepenthes once, and when it arrived it was kind of small and not in the best condition. It lived, but it grew very slowly. If you buy the Venus Flytrap variety 3 pack, (the one that comes all in one pot) consider repotting them, there is simply not enough space for all three. 2 of them will end up killing off the third.
