I have several Pinguicula Lutea's that I have been struggling with. The soil got to wet, so I stopped watering it as much. But now some of the leaves are turning black. Should I try to remove them? If so how? What causes the leaves to turn black in the first place? Would it be best to just re-plant them all together?

lutea are the plants that grow in situ 'in the peaty sand not too wet , like pumila and caerulea
I think your lutea are rotting from too much watering.

Black leaves on Pinguicula lutea are perfectly normal, if they are the older leaves they may simply be going through normal senescence (aging). In order to diagnose accurately the situation with your plant, a photo illustrating what you are describing would be required, or, at least a more detailed written narrative.
