Catalina Island (Santa Catalina Island), California? If so, it has a year-round Mediterranean climate. The sun shines an average of 267 days a year, and the average rainfall is 14 inches per year. I expect the only CPs suitable to grow there would be Drosophyllum. If you find any, let us know.

Not even in the Wrigley Botanical Gardens there.
That being said, there are some interesting endemics on the Island, and those CAN be seen at the Botanic Gardens.
One of my favorites is a little succulent called the Catalina Island Live Forever (Duddleya hassei).
