My name is Tyler. I've only been growing CPs for a year and a half now, but with every bit I learn, I become more fascinated by these plants. I finally decided to sign up with the ICPS so I can share my joy with like-minded folks, rather than watch my wife's eyes glaze over with boredom when I get to talking about my latest plants (so disheartening ). haha If there's anybody in or near the Pittsburgh area, shoot me an email. I've been trying to find places around here that sell quality CPs rather than nearly dead ones in plastic boxes.

Welcome Tyler!
I think you'll find lot's of like minded folks here!
It sounds like we could probably start some kind of support group for CP enthusiasts with spouses who Glaze over when talk turns to CPs! Wait, I think that's what this is! :-)
So, tell us what are you growing!
Happy Trails, Mike

haha glad I'm not the only one.
Here's a list of what I've got so far. All of the North Americans were rescued from Lowe's and are doing wonderfully. Most of my tropicals- excluding D. adelae and N. ventricosa which were from Lowe's- have come from cobraplant.com:
Tropicals D. adelae (2) D. multifida "Extrema" D. aliciae (2) D. spatulata (2) D. roseana (2)
Cephalotus follicularis
N. mikei N. ventricosa N. sanguinea (red form) N. 'Kohala'
Perrenials
S. flava S. purpurea ssp. venosa S. purpurea ssp. purpurea S. x 'Judith Hindle' S. leucophylla S. psittacina S. rubra
Darlingtonia californica
and about 20 Dionaea muscipula
The collection seems to be expanding quite rapidly, so I'm sure this list will need to be updated quite frequently, but this is what I've got so far.

Quite a collection! Do you grow all of these outdoors? (And welcome aboard!)

Thanks, Jonnyq! All of the North Americans are grown outdoors. My tropicals are sharing a windowsill with the orchids. However, throughout the winter, I feel more comfortable moving them into the basement with some 40" shop lights.
